The first Messas n’Imzad competition, which took place on 11/11/11: (The most beautiful young imzad player)
This competition did much to foster competitiveness, not only among the young players but between the schools of Tamanrasset, Tizit and Tintarabine. Every year since, this competition still unfolds under the attentive eye of a jury made up of the imzad mistresses, the poets and the elders of the region.
